It’s finally here!!! Rome Duran has finally completed his debut EP Straight to the Moon and it is available now for free download!! Produced entirely by Street Scott of K.I.D. who is also a MoonLiteCLUB representer, this EP is a musical illustration of the emotional responses we as humans contain through love and life. The EP starts off with “Wanderlust” our innate desire to travel and Rome’s shout to the world that there’s something “out there” waiting for him. I love it. Street Scott and Rome Duran are definitely a good team. Street is very experimental and is there for Rome’s unique vocal range and deep mantra-like lyrics. Rome, who writes his lyrics himself, has opened up from just a rudimentary rhyme scheme to lyrically becoming a musical poet. And then suddenly, Rome and Street take it up a notch with “Reckless Emotions” a track that superimposes our feelings through a contrasting uptempo and down tempo. The EP ends with my favorite track ‘Didn’t I” one of the best neo-R&B records I have ever heard. That song, along with the rest of the EP, is amazingly beautiful. The musical genius of these two artists is on a million. The entire supernatural vibe of this EP is astonishing. I love the entire concept, the records definitely sound ultra-spacey, like we are indeed going Straight to the Moon. Enjoy the EP below and download for free here.
